💻 Technical Implementation#
The ECO-carpooling application uses a specially developed REST API to retrieve and format field planning data. This API aggregates information from different sources (schedules, geolocation, user profiles) and structures it for map display. The system handles field data retrieval with geographic coordinates, associated participant information, and planning metadata, while ensuring robust error handling and appropriate date formatting for the French user interface.
💡 Innovation and Added Value#
This project illustrates how digitalization can transform environmental professions. By automating repetitive tasks and facilitating access to information, the developed tools allow ecologists to focus on their core business: biodiversity protection.
“This internship allowed me to put my technical skills at the service of a cause close to my heart: environmental preservation. Seeing the concrete impact of my work on the teams’ daily life was extremely rewarding.” - Léon Fievet
🖼️ User Interface#
Main Hub Interface#
The ECO-MED Hub presents a modern and intuitive web interface for easy access to all developed applications. The microservices architecture ensures optimal performance and simplified maintenance.
